Snow Bear!

Today was a day with no school for Bret and no daycare for the girls due to the fact that Grandma was visiting while Grandpa was over in Birchwood ice fishing. She decided to hang with us instead for a couple days. The day was gorgeous so after I came home for lunch I kicked the oldest two outside to play in the snow, while Madi and I went to get cousin Allie. It was pretty warm so the snow was packing well. Kacy thought they should make a bear, and I think that was okay with Bret, because then he only had to lift one snowball rather than two.

A pink snow-bunny!

They were not willing participants in Mom 's pictures, but this one is pretty good!

Nice look, huh?

Here they are putting on the head. Bret was less than thrilled how things turned out, but it really did not matter, they got to spend some quality time together!!!! Yeah right!!!

A Playdate.....Yeah!!!!

I am not sure if I have ever mentioned this before......but I love Thursdays. Yes, it is because it is my day off. I am able to have a girls day with my girls every week and I love it!
Today we had made plans to visit my old roommate Laurie and her girls. The Johnson girls were very excited to head into St Paul and see the Staiger girls. Kacy still thought we were heading out to Laurie's parents home to go swimming as we had done a few Thursdays this summer. But of course we were not, we were heading to their home in St Paul.
Aren't these some pretty, pretty princesses....
Madi, Ella and Kacy

Not to be outdone, Kailey put on the Snow White bow and joined in the fun..
She looks happy doesn't she?

Do think anyone else has any beads on?

And isn't she a fashion statement in the Cinderella top and the Ariel bottom.
The girls loved playing dress up with Ella's new Christmas gift.
She was very kind to share it with them.

Here is another new toy......
The Bouncer!!!!!!
The girls had a blast jumping in it, throwing the ball out and jumping in it, riding the side then fall in it, and finally running and jumping in it!!!!!
I think this is gift that is going to provide hours of entertainment!!!
I am sure Jon and Laurie are trying to figure out a way to go in it too!

Do these girls look like they are having a good time or what!!!!

She make look like an angel, but looks are so deceiving!!

Need some static guard Ella?

This is how they ride the side....

Then all fall in!!!!

This is a toy that does not do much for your hairdo!

Thank Laurie, Ella and Kailey! We had a great time and cannot wait for you
to come visit us here in St Croix Falls!!!

Hula Girls!

The girls stayed in Arkdale between Christmas and New Years,
they kept Grandma and Grandma busy!
Grandpa and Grandma were in Hawaii the first week of December and brought the girls back grass skirts and flower leis. The girls look very cute with them on doing their dance. My Mom said Kacy even knew what do do with her hands and wants to know where she learned it......
The only place I can think of is Dora!
