Today we headed into St Paul to the Raptor Center on the U of M campus for Dori's Birthday Party. What great place to go and learn about the birds and actually see the up close. Every time we see an Eagle or Hawk...Madi reminds us that we saw one of those at the Raptor Center!! That girl does not seem to forget!!!

Turtle Lake
Like I said before to round up our Mother;s Day adventures we headed over to Ruth and TJ's on Turtle Lake for an amazing meal. They have such a nice set up and the kids love it over there!

We are just missing Justin!
Mini Golfing on Mother's Day
Here are some random pictures from our golfing expedition. Madi thinks it is a great idea but looses focus pretty quickly. Kacy loves to go too, but also looses focus pretty quickly and that sends Dad over the edge. He loves to have to tell her over and over again how to hold the club.....
She is 4, she really does not care if it is correct or not!

Ride, Sister Ride!
Kacy got her new bike for her fourth birthday in October so she really had to wait until this spring to ride it....well she is finally out & about and really getting the hang of it. Maybe next year we can take the training wheels off!!!
Happy Mother's Day to Me!!!
Oh another Mom's Day for me....I try not to expect anything so then I will not be disappointed.
This year Kacy said she wanted to throw me a party, but Dad said no!!! That man truly has no clue in the world!!
I truly am happy with him just reminding my kids to tell me Happy Mother's Day before the clerk in the store does it first! Just little thing that make me feel special today!
(It really is a national holiday!)

Bret's Confirmation
As an 8th grader moving on to high school next year(god willing.) Bret had his first rite of passage this Sunday....Confirmation! No more Wednesday night catechism classes, no more sermon notes (though he only had to do them one year,) and no more verse memorization.
Our church does not have too many people his age, currently the the kids are a great deal younger so he was one of two confirmats.
Ryan, Bret and Pastor DevriseThe weather Sunday turned out great which was a blessing in itself, because our house is none too big. We served brunch after the service so our guests were able to sit outside and enjoy the food and the sun.
