Packer Backers....even Bret!!!

Today we headed over to Turtle Lake to celebrate Grandma Ruthie's Birthday. Rene had called earlier and asked that all the kids wear their Packer gear so we could get a cousin's picture.
Bret was less than thrilled to have to put the green and gold back on
but it sure made for some great pictures!

Here are all the Johnson cousins, minus Justin!

And here are the three youngest having a blast in Grandma's hammock.
They kind of look like that are up to no good!

Homecoming 2010

With Bret in High School this year Homecoming takes on a whole new meaning. This year the Freshman class built their 1st Place winning float in our back garage. All worked out great! Mark did notice that the boys lacked focus and constantly had to be told what to do......just like there fathers mind you.....the only difference is that the high school boys actually listened!
Bret's little sisters were also out there constantly checking on the kids, trying to help, working on their own projects and pretty much getting in the way. Let me tell you those high schoolers earned all the food I fed them, because the did a great job entertaining the little girls as well.

Here is the finished product!!! They did a great job and took home the top prize!

Mark and I can home after the foundation dinner on Thursday night to find the back of the trailer painted...It is not ours so that was not my concern....I did wonder if they had asked the trailer owner before this was done......Then I thought, well at least it is not bright pink!!!!
They had not, but the owners daughter had orchestrated the act...so she was accountable! (What do kids have cell phones for anyways!!!)

Here are our Pre -Ker's enjoying the parade!

Kacy's First Day

And the next day was Kacy's first day of 4K. She was super excited to get to go to school! I hope she will always be that way! I think she is just thrilled to do something that Madi cannot do!
I am very glad her first day was a Thursday so I could take her and pick her up...every other day she will get to ride the bus back to Jodene's, and that really excites her!

A flower picture just like Bret!

At School

Madi helping her sis unpack her things in her box.

Kacy and Trey are in the same class...
They are going to love this picture on graduation day!!

This is Mrs. Hoff, Kacy's teacher.
She has a son Madi's age who goes to our daycare, so it is nice to have a familiar face as your teacher....though the other 4K teacher lives behind us...so either way Kacy would have known her teacher!

High School Here He Comes!

September first was Bret's first day of school..and even more disturbing for me...
his first day of High School!
It is very hard to believe how quickly time seems to go by. And I have been told that once they hit high school, before you know it graduation day has come. That is hard to believe but I sure can see it now!!

I know he loves this....Wait until I go to college with him to do it too!
