Happy Halloween...kind off

Check out these snazzy costumes...
Kacy is a Moon Fairy, and Mads is Snow White.

We were not sure is Kacy was going to be able to take part. She had the flu and was still puking at 2pm. She got some more much needed rest and then took a shower and ate some soup. She thought she was OK to go. She did pretty well....she made it around the block before she decided her tummy hurt and she wanted to go home. Dad took her home and Madi and I went to a few more neighbors houses and then headed home too. They both had plenty!

She looks pretty good here!

What can I say about her....first she wanted to be Tinker Bell, then a cow again, then a fairy, and at one time a pink dinosaur. I am glad she settled on this one, it was something we owned!
Kacy's was hand me down too, so Mom really lucked out!

Pumpkin Fun

Our finished products!

The before picture!

Yummy gooooo!

I remember the year Bret and I carved pumpkins right after Kacy turned one.
While he and I worked on them Kacy would pull the innards out of the pumpkin and eat them!

She has come along way!

Kacy's 5th Birthday

Kacy's 5th Birthday Celebration was filled with lots of family and friends!
We were blessed to have some visitors for the first time to St Croix Falls....Baby Ryan and his Mom Heather. The kids were thrilled to have Baby Ryan in our house, even if for just a day.
Great Grandma Grabarski also made the trip with Nana and Papa! What a special day for us all!

Holy Little Girls!!!

This was Kacy's first opportunity to to have a friend birthday party. After talking her out of a sleep over with a bunch of little girls we decided to invite 4 and head over to Bergman's' Pumpkin Patch. Now you remember how gorgeous every weekend in October had been so far....well that came to an end this weekend!! We went any way. I had no "plan B" for 6 little girls. When we left home it was not raining. I asked parents if they cared if their kids came home went and dirty...not one did, so we continued with our plans.
The party girls!
Josie, Lucy, Kacy, Madi, Rylee and Morgan
Morgan was unable to stay, but stopped over for a short time.

We arrived at the patch.

Could they have coordinated more beautifully!

Madi loves the animals of course....
Lucy informed me on the the way there that she is allergic to horses..
so we kept her away form them.
I really have never heard of such a thing, but her Mom confirmed it!

Here we are off on the wagon ride...we got the whole thing to ourselves...
Looks like a picture for the yearbook their senior year!

Madi and Ry were having some quality time together in the corn bin!
They filled their boot and pockets with corn....
I am still finding corn in my dryer!

So proud!

This one too!

The girls spent a great deal of time in this corn play area....I literally had to say it is time to go!! This was at least enclosed and out of the elements.
The girls played wonderfully together. I was worried about the numbers, but it worked great. They all found something to do and did not have to be with each other at all times. We then headed home for some birthday cupcakes and indoor play!

The Day really tuckered them out!!!
This is how Madi fell asleep, at around 7:30.
she asked for milk and when I brought it back in this what I found.

Kacy was out too, which was great, because the next day was her family party!

I heard from other Mom's that their girls were worn out as well!
I guess it was a very successful party!
