Holy Little Girls!!!

This was Kacy's first opportunity to to have a friend birthday party. After talking her out of a sleep over with a bunch of little girls we decided to invite 4 and head over to Bergman's' Pumpkin Patch. Now you remember how gorgeous every weekend in October had been so far....well that came to an end this weekend!! We went any way. I had no "plan B" for 6 little girls. When we left home it was not raining. I asked parents if they cared if their kids came home went and dirty...not one did, so we continued with our plans.
The party girls!
Josie, Lucy, Kacy, Madi, Rylee and Morgan
Morgan was unable to stay, but stopped over for a short time.

We arrived at the patch.

Could they have coordinated more beautifully!

Madi loves the animals of course....
Lucy informed me on the the way there that she is allergic to horses..
so we kept her away form them.
I really have never heard of such a thing, but her Mom confirmed it!

Here we are off on the wagon ride...we got the whole thing to ourselves...
Looks like a picture for the yearbook their senior year!

Madi and Ry were having some quality time together in the corn bin!
They filled their boot and pockets with corn....
I am still finding corn in my dryer!

So proud!

This one too!

The girls spent a great deal of time in this corn play area....I literally had to say it is time to go!! This was at least enclosed and out of the elements.
The girls played wonderfully together. I was worried about the numbers, but it worked great. They all found something to do and did not have to be with each other at all times. We then headed home for some birthday cupcakes and indoor play!

The Day really tuckered them out!!!
This is how Madi fell asleep, at around 7:30.
she asked for milk and when I brought it back in this what I found.

Kacy was out too, which was great, because the next day was her family party!

I heard from other Mom's that their girls were worn out as well!
I guess it was a very successful party!

UWRF Alumni

My old roommate's from college and I were fortunate enough to get away the first weekend of October for some well deserved girl time. Six of us traveled to Madison for some rest, relaxation, shopping, donating, and drinking....Not necessarily in that order!
It was so good to spend time with these girls, we do not do it nearly enough, but we sure do have a great time when we do!! It would have been better if Jill and Katie could have come too, "but we get who we get adn we don't throw a fit!!"

Tonya, Kerry,Laurie, Pam & Me
Blaze in the back!

Our new favorite shot.......a dirty girl scout.
We were not having any of those Saturday night,
they kicked a couple peoples butts on Friday night!
I am not naming names, but you may see their picture later on in this entry!

Lets just say we can still keep up with the college kids....
we just cannot recover like them!

Are their tongues still green?

Yes we gave blood...this was our donation!
Our Mom's would be so proud!

Rock of Ages

My hubby and I had a night out.
As an anniversary gift for both of us I got tickets to see Rock of Ages at the Orpheum. (He calls it a loaded gift, because I told him he had to buy supper!) This show is a total hair band musical and most of the girls danced around in their underwear on the stage....what husband would not enjoy that type of a musical! The music was great and Mark really did enjoy it!
That Constance guy from American Idol was the lead.

It turned out that Jill and Pam had tickets for the same night with their hubby's. Pam had already seen the show in New York and liked it so much
they decided to see it again in Minneapolis.

Friday is Jill's 40th. She and Kacy share a birthday.

The cast!

This is the American Idol guy.

Happy Bithday Rylee and Quinnie

Today we headed over to the Williamson camp to celebrate Rylee and Quinn's 5th and 2nd birthdays. Ry wanted a Princess and The Frog party and Quinn was all about Dora. Their Mom did a great job mixing the two. We enjoyed lunch, presents, cupcake and the kids playing!

BFF's!!!
Ry's birthday is October 20th and Kacy's is the 22nd. May they be life long friends through think and thin just like someone I know who is two days older than me as well!

Could she look any cuter!!!! (almost angelic......yeah right!!)

Adorable Quinn ready to dive into a cupcake!

Who wants cake?? (better yet, who had cake!)

My Dora!

Pumpkins!

Yes, she thinks she is a supermodel in a 5 year old body!

Here is Nolan, Kallie's son, finally warming up to the idea of hanging with the other kids...of course it was about five minutes before it was time to go!

And here is Kallie with her youngest son Cade...
he is just aching to join the fun!

Cars

Not far from our hotel in Eau Claire was a repair shop with replicas of the Disney
Cars movie sitting outside. Bennet is a huge fan so Sunday morning we went over to check them out........(And lets just say the the kids were not cooperative at all!!!)

Bennet is not exactly excited about his seat.

Kacy is in the background...the little stinker!!

Wedding Number Nine

Well our year of weddings has finally come to an end. This weekend was Annie and Steve's wedding on our 6th Anniversary. The day was just gorgeous, just as it was the day we got married. We enjoyed visiting with the Rust family one more time this summer. Kacy and Madi especially enjoyed spending time with Hannah again. And the Stillman girls were awesome dance partners for them all night! I thank them!!!!

Ruth and her kids.

Rene and her kids!

Allie and Justin

Justin and his Mom
(There are more picture of Justin this night than I have taken of him in the last 3 years....that boy is never around!!!)

Fabulous Fall Fun

We have finally had some great fall weather. The Johnson & Anderson kids have an ongoing tradition of spending lots of evenings out playing in the leaves. The only difference this year is that they are all getting old enough to pile up their own leaves!!!
And they still think that is park of the fun!!
