The Blonde Bombers!!

Today is Kacy's 4th Birthday and I agreed to let her have a a play date with Rylee, who turned 4 on Tuesday. They pretty much like to drag out anything and
everything while they are playing......it makes for a bunch of pick up time before the day is over.
They do however really enjoy to dress up....
as my girlfriends and I did back in our younger days!!

Here are a couple fancy dresses that we have gotten from Hope.
Kacy loves to wear them out as much as she can! We cannot have enough
Sundays or weddings in any given year!
I love this picture!!! I just think they look so pretty!
I cannot wait to hang it up in their graduation day! The will appreciate if so much more than any naked picture I can find.

Please be sure to notice the fancy princess shoes!!
It was chilly but they wanted a picture outside.

Best Friends we will always be!!!! These girls just make me laugh!!

Happy 4th Birthday my Blonde Bombers!!!

Carving Pumpkins!

We wrapped up our busy weekend by carving up our pumpkins!

Here are our finished products!

Bret really enjoys the carving part...

Not so much the cleaning them out!

Madi is watching and learning!

EWWWWWW!

Lets get these guts out!

Kacy at this age was picking out the insides and eating them,
Madi seems to be a tad smarter than that.

Kacy got hers cleaned out too...
Okay, really I cleaned them all!

Disney Live!

My friend Kayli and I took our soon to be four year old blonde bombers to Disney Live on Sunday at the Excel. Ry will be 4 on the 20th and Kacy on the 22nd. We did this as a special treat for the big sisters! Madi was not too happy to see us go without her but she got over it! When Ry heard the Madi was not going she said Madi was going to be sad....I would say it was more like pissed!
After Kacy sang in church with the Sunday school we headed to St Paul. The four of us had lunch at Olive Garden...Kacy's pick of course. We made it to the venue right at 12:30. It was super, cause the show was not far from starting and we did not have to sit around and wait.

All the Characters at the end.

Ry and Kacy in their seat at the show. They were pretty tame girls at first, I was not sure if Kacy was going to get out of her seat and dance.... but she finally did!

All the Disney friends!

Up, Up and away!

Mickey and Minnie!

Cinderella...the girls could not see enough of her! They were also hoping for other princess..but there were none. We did however see that Disney Princesses on Ice is coming December...
Yikes, maybe it could be a Christmas present. Kacy would love it!

Oh yeah, the girls got into bouncing with Tiger!

Don't the look like they are having a great time?
They certainly are out their seat now!

These girls are great friends and do play so well together. They were so good today, we are very lucky to have such happy, healthy kids! I hope they will always be such good friends! It will be fun to see them grow up!

Here are the blonde bombers at the end of the day sitting on a rock outside of the Excel.

Friends are Friends Forever!

Fall in St Croix Falls!

After a very exciting afternoon in in St Paul, we got home in time to enjoy the gorgeous Sunday!
Hope came and asked if we wanted to play in the leaves...well out the door we went
and we did not come back in until dark!
I was just thinking that we were not going to have any fall pictures
considering the way the weather has been....I was wrong!
The kids love playing in the leaves...up until when Todd was putting them on me....
the girls did not like that at all!

Bret in the leaves!

Hope and Trey!

Do you think Trey was eating something blue?

I love this picture of Hope!

Yes...trouble is my middle name! (or at least it should be!)

It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!

Saturday afternoon the kids & I and the Anderson's headed off to Bergmann's Farm to enjoy the Pumpkin Patch. This is the first year they were open. There was much to do for all ages, which was nice. My kids enjoyed it all!
I took till the end of the day for the three of them to finally agree to a photo at one of the many photo ops they had. I love this one and I think they look like they had a good time too! They did get mini-donuts so that may be why they look happy!

They do not have a pumpkin patch that you can go out and pick your own, but they had some brought in that you can buy. We got three and had them carved by the end of the weekend!

Even Bret found thing to do to occupy his time with the youngsters.
He looks so old in the picture! I know he is 14!

Here are our pumpkin pickers with their picks.
The pumpkins were only part of the day!

We got to enjoy a hayride which took you up to a corn maze. We would still be in the maze if had not been for the girls with us whom had already been through. I would hate to go through it in the dark. I would have been lost for weeks!

The Great Pumpkin?

They had a small petting zoo.....so you know that is were Madi headed!
This girls is all about the animals!

Hopa-lopa on the straw!

Bret told the girls to bury him in the corn-pit! They did!
(I think he liked it!)

We had so much fun, and were grateful for a decent day. We have not had too many this fall so it was time to take advantage of it well we could.

What a great weekend for camping!

Well the first weekend in October Mom and Dad were coming up to the land in Birchwood with Dave and Jane...they hoped to do some fishing, some work on the shed and just have a little time away from the farm. Well of course the weather was crappy....it always seems to be that way when the four of them try to do anything in the fall!
Bad weather or not, my kids love to go to the camper, in fact they had been asking all summer!
So we packed up warm clothes and lots of blankets and headed over on Saturday morning.

Well it was very wet, however the the buildings are dry and cozy!
We spent the night in the camper, Mom and Dad in the shed...Dave & Jane volunteered to stay in Brian's in laws cabin which is also in Birchwood. (Did I mention it has indoor plumbing and a television!) It is nicer than my house! Cousin Steve, Cousin Brian & Jen and their kids, and Jen's parents were there...not to mention 4 dogs! The boys worked Saturday in the shed, while the girls ran into Bargain Bills in Rice Lake. I had not been there in years!! It was the same as I remember. For supper we headed over to Jen's parents cabin. The kids loved played, the adults talked, Dad enjoyed a comfy sofa, and we had great food! Thanks so much! We then headed home for our night in the camper.

Nana and the kids. Of course they cannot all look at me!

Finally it is not raining...while for a moment. We all headed out.

The colors are way better there than they were in SCF.

This really was one of the biggest leaves I had ever seen!

The water is is down so much, I know I really should not complain about the rain...but it is just not fun when it is cold!

The progress inside. Dad is making one end of the shed a living area. He now has electricity so we no longer have to worry about draining the battery! We just have to drain the bathroom! It will be nice when they can just come up and enjoy the area......someday!

Time to pull the boat up! I think they may be discussing future plans.

The fall colors!

These are some self portrait's (obviously). Madi thought it was very funny when I would take one and turn the camera around and show it her.

Here are the three of us in one.
After to packing up and helping Nana and Papa get everything shut down and packed away for the winter...which is quite a job...... Bret, Mark and I headed back to SCF. The girls went to the farm for the week. Mark and I wanted to do something for our 5th Anniversary on Friday. We will then go pick the girls up! I hope they are good for Gram and Gramp. I am not sure who will be more excited to see us on Saturday...the girls or Nana & Papa! They do love it there and as my Mom says....they are only little once! ( I will reminder of that at the end of the week!)
